About me
I grew up in hawaii with my mom being a practicing witch, herbalist, and nature adventurer. Creating vision boards, making special concoctions, and performing rituals in nature was a regular part of my childhood. In college I studied sustainable agriculture and dove deeper into self studying herbalism. After college I began living and working on various farms, helping them start food, flower, and medicinal herb gardens. In 2021 I started working at Ecology Action under John Jeavons as a Biointensive research farmer. While at ecology action I continue to learn more about soil, compost, and closed loop sustainability.
The passion for herbalism never subsided and it was actual my own hormonal imbalances journey that lead me deeper into studying herbalism and functional hormone health. At the age of 19 I finally got off of hormonal birth control. I had been on many different kinds from the age of 14. When I finally decided to get off of birth control I experienced a year of amenorrhea along with many other issues. It was ultimately working with herbs to support my body and balance my hormones that helped bring back my cycle. Since then I have spent the last 7 years studying cycle syncing, fertility awareness, and holistically balancing hormones using lifestyle and herbal support. Over the years I have assisted many friends with their journey of getting off of birth control and reclaiming their relationship with their cycles. In the beginning of 2024 I finally got certified with the Internationally Certified Association of Functional Hormone Health.
